Michigan author and retired public prosecutor Jeffrey Caminsky will appear today in the "Ebling and You" radio program on WILS-AM out of Lansing. Among the topics up for discussion will be the action of the Senate Judiciary Committee in passing on the nomination of Solicitor General Elana Kagan as an associate justice of the United States Supreme Court.
Caminsky, who worked for years as an appellate prosecutor with the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, has briefed and argued cases before the Supreme Court during his 30-year career as a public prosecutor. Among his last cases was the case of Michigan v Bryant, which is currently set for argument before the Supreme Court in October, 2010.
